CCIE’s 6th Global Thinktank Roundtable

In the CCIE’s 6th Global Thinktank Roundtable, held online on 23-24 September 2020, a host of eminent former politicians, policymakers, and heads of international organisations gathered to discuss ‘Overcoming the Pandemic and Moving Forward with Joint Effort’. Notable attendees included former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, former Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong, former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Grzegorz W. Kolodko, and UN Undersecretary-General Liu Zhenmin.
The roundtable attracted 200 representatives from over 20 countries and regions, with Professor Peter Drysdale and Dr Shiro Armstrong representing the Asian Bureau of Economic Research (ABER). Over two days, they contributed to rich discussions focused on the shared global challenge of the pandemic and strategies for collective recovery.
