Prospects for the Development of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Bilateral Relations in the Asia Pacific Region
EABER actively participated in the ANU-Renmin University Roundtable titled “Prospects for the Development of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Bilateral Relations in the Asia Pacific Region,” held online. Peter Drysdale delivered opening and closing remarks, providing insights into the Australia-China relationship. Shiro Armstrong contributed by discussing the bilateral relationship between Australia and China, as well as Chinese participation in the CPTPP. Tom Westland’s contribution focused on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the significance of multilateral cooperation in the Asia Pacific region. The roundtable provided a platform for in-depth discussions on the future of economic cooperation and bilateral relations in the Asia Pacific region.
